Today I ask some customers if they get Mails with empty body, for my
surprise they get sometimes Mails with no body.
Mail.App and IOS both with IMAP so the Problem is not POP3 Only.

looks like POP3 only and only the desktop App
the pervert is if you login with IMAP move the affected message to
a different folder and back to Inbox to let it appear as new mail
for POP3 it has a body
as well we compared fetch a this way cloned message with the
original one from the day before diff did not show any difference
except the ID
hence the Apple clients are generally crap
not only once seen problems of customers display random messages
with IMAP and Roundcubemail or Thunderbird had no problem

I've not been following this Apple mail bug issue (body empty) as it
hasn't affected me yet.
I'd like to keep ahead of any possible customers complaints that may
come to me. Does this bug apply to Apple Mac
OSX mail.app with POP3 only? So not on iOS devices and not with IMAP?

this is really mysterious because we debugged POP3 last
week with a untouched message and a copy made via IMAP
and both message with POP3 in a ncat-session are 100%
identical............
Since:
I have no way to reproduce this myself,
It appears to be a generic problem for Apple users, with more
mail-servers [1]
Apple mail clients are very "special" to not use bad words
and how Apple deals with critism is well known
Apple removed your post titled "Dear Apple:
your mail-clients are broken" because it contained the following:
* Non-constructive rants or complaints
Best Regards,
Apple Support Communities Staff
I'm not at all convinced there's anything I can do about it
clear since it is imposible do debug
the strange thing is that this did not happen before 3.1
and affects a user and mostly a large customer as sender
wich is not new in this combination
I'm not going to post-pone 3.1.3 nor 3.2.0 for this particular issue.
that's clear, 3.1.2 has the same issue
sorry
no problem
