Dear all,

My name is Bianca Pereira and I am a PhD Researcher at Insight Centre for
Data Analytics in Ireland [1], working together with Paul Buitelaar and
Georgeta Bordea. I recently attended the SEMANTiCS event and the DBPedia
workshop, and I found very interesting all the effort from the DBPedia
community.

We would like to contribute with the community by creating a DBPedia chapter
for gaelic [2] (the original language from Ireland, where we are based). I do
not speak gaelic myself but there are irish researchers in our Centre that do
and we have easy contact with groups studying the gaelic language within the
University.

We believe the creation of this new Chapter can improve the study of the
gaelic language and the use of DBPedia in the analysis of gaelic material. To
do so, we would like to know if the DBPedia community is interested on this and
we are already looking forward to start the procedure to create this new
chapter.

  Best Regards,
  Bianca Pereira
