:) Yes, we are the technical team behind the gene wiki project.  
Eclarke/pleiotrope is the main author of that bot.  

Our goal here is to get the structured data flowing into Wikipedia through 
those infoboxes (and other future projects) flowing out as linked data via 
DBpedia.
