I never experienced a limit, using SILK making 100 queries per second.

But I think you should be responsible and not overloading the SPARQL endpoint
by opening too many http-requests in parallel. Operating a SPARQL endpoint
myself I experienced that at some point the load on the server goes up
resulting in slower and slower answering ...
