I have a Mail Box, Etc., story that is actually on-topic: I used to use an MBE near my house to ship discs for trades (this dates back a couple of years). I became frustrated that mail seemed to be taking a lot longer to get to their destinations then it should have. Then I started getting a few complaints that people weren't getting the discs that I definately sent out. I couldn't figure out what was going on.
Then I found out that this one kid who worked there was a Deadhead. To make a long story short, it turns out this kid used to take the discs I was trying to ship to a buddy, and have him copy them, then mail my discs a few days later. Then evidently his buddy went away to school, so he started just keeping my discs! Unreal!!! So they got rid of the kid, and I agreed not to take it further. I'm pretty sure that's a felony (messing with the mail, not stealing Dead shows). For a while they gave me my bubble envelopes free, but eventually I just stopped using them. It's important to note, though, that Mail Boxes Etc. is a FRANCHISE, so it's not really fair to tell people not to use them, as they're independently owned and operated. I wouldn't use the one in West Chester, OH, though.
