Contemporary sources mention that at the Free Stage
at the Woodstock Festival 1969, the Grateful Dead spent hours jamming before and
after their mangled set on the big stage.
Does anyone know if this was recorded or filmed? I
haven't seen any of this, although I did see an outtake of Garcia playing
acoustic guitar with a Joan Baezesque folk singer (Mimi Farina,
possible).
