Wasn't this show a benefit for the venue? Or am I mixing it up with something else.
Jerry sat in with Merl's bands more than we know about. Merl (no 'e' at the end) Saunders was in charge of the house band at a club on Union St. in SF called The Generosity in the early-mid 70s, & Jerry sat in with him, unbilled, frequently. Recently tape of the 2/14/75 gig emerged.
