There is no convenient way to convert the tutorial programs into a printable format. We use doxygen to generate HTML, and doxygen has a way to also generate latex which could be used to produce printable versions. However: 1/ a latex version of the entire documentation has >5000 pages and latex runs out of memory compiling it 2/ latex is not quite happy with the format of some of the graphics we use 3/ a way to generate latex only out of the tutorials, not also the rest of the documentation, would be convenient; but someone would have to implement it. That's only to say that it isn't immediate trivial to implement, not that it wouldn't be useful. Help would certainly be appreciated!
