Ouch! That hurts and is never good.
Does step-12 work (in 2d) without modifying anything? Straight out of the
box, touch nothing... does that work?
Can you please send me your configure.log or the complete error message
(or better, both!). I don't care how big the file is, you can post to me
off-list tyou...@_ippt.gov.pl; and I will take a good look at it.
I think you've messed up static/dynamic library issues here; but I am
really guessing right now....
