Dear deal.II users, we are pleased to announce the launch of the Archive of Numerical Software (ANS). ANS is a free, peer-reviewed, high quality, open-access journal publishing research of numerical methods that are implemented based on, or extend large-scale numerical libraries. ANS's distinctive feature -- furthering the goal of encouraging the reuse of software -- is that articles must be accompanied by the computer code from which results were obtained. We are committed to establishing and maintaining high standards of code usability, documentation, and reproducibility, considering both the code itself as well as accompanying manuscripts.
The journal is hosted by the Texas Digital Library and can be found at http://journals.tdl.org/ans Its mission statement, policies and submission guidelines can also be found there. Since you are all involved in producing high level application software, we cordially invite you to consider a submission in our initial volume. We look forward to considering your contributions in the near future. Best regards, Guido _______________________________________________ dealii mailing list http://poisson.dealii.org/mailman/listinfo/dealii
