Sorry, I had not read carefully. I see you have an intel mac. However, the compiler you are using is not the same compiler used to compile mpich (which was created on a Mac OS ventura, with clang 14, not clang 15).
You will have to reinstall the full stack of packages. You should be able to run spack compiler find --scope=site spack activate dealii spack concretize -f -U spack install It will take some time, but at the end you should have a working system.
