QATAR:

Qatari Prosecutor's Office seeks death penalty for Russians


The Qatari Prosecutor's Office pursues the death penalty for 2 Russian
citizens jailed in the country for the alleged murder of exiled Chechen
leader Zelimkhan Yandarbiyev in Doha in February, lawyer Ilya Levitov told
journalists. The demand for the death penalty for 2 Russians was announced
during today's trial in the Qatari capital Doha.
