Inside, there are six colored, socketed leads that may be inserted into the DB9 connector in any configuration. Since I've seen several conflicting pinouts for MMJ/DB9, this is the reason I want to get the pinouts correct the first time; these adapters look near impossible to rework, and I've only got two of them :-/ > > 3.
