apache2/mod_php5

Does anyone on the list run Apache2 with mod_php5?
I performed a dist-upgrade and now apache2 hangs on startup when I try 
to use mod_php5.  This is all from "stable", minus the libc which is 
from unstable.

I didn't know if anyone else was experiencing the problem and/or had an 
idea as to a work around.
