That sounds dangerous; as I understand it, it's necessary for everything that depends on libapr0 to use the same version of Berkeley DB. On a similar note, though, db4.2 is now in unstable, so will the next version of apache2 use it? Uploads of new upstream versions of subversion are waiting for this to happen.
