I've done so. I'm not sure how well the BTS deals with attachments, so I'll include excerpts below as well as a link to the full logfiles. http://www.contrib.andrew.cmu.edu/~cg2v/debian/install-sarge-syslog-20040313 http://www.contrib.andrew.cmu.edu/~cg2v/debian/install-sarge-messages-20040 313 /var/log/syslog is the more interesting file. The error that caused base-installer.postinst to exit was this: mv /target/var/lib/apt/lists/debootstrap.invalid_dists_sarge_Release /target/var/lib/apt/lists/debian.mirrors.pair.com__dists_sarge_Release mv: unable to rename `/target/var/lib/apt/lists/debootstrap.invalid_dists_sarge_Release': No such file or directory The file does exist in the /target filesystem, but the script seems to have umounted /target shortly before trying the mv. Note that this install didn't get quite as far as the previous one. There's no output from apt-get update on VC #3 this time. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
