This is on a dell poweredge 2850 No problem installing with megaraid, but that leaves no traces of the raid under /proc/megaraid adding megaraid2 to /etc/mkinitrd/modules, and recreating initrd.img fixes the problem. Maybe this is more a mkinitrd bug, or discover, I'm not sure. I have this machine here now during Xmas, and would be glad to help.
