Package: smokeping
Version: 1.38-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

I have updated to smokeping 1.38-1 from 1.34. My configuration file is
attached, and has a concurrent probes setup which has been modeled
after Nico's example in #283533.

After upgrading to 1.38, that configuration does not work any more:

[2/[EMAIL PROTECTED] sid-smokeping]:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/smokeping start
Starting smokeping: Can't locate probes/FPingExternal.pm in @INC (@INC
contains: /usr/share/perl5 /usr/share/perl5/smokeping /etc/perl
/usr/local/lib/perl/5.8.4 /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.4 /usr/lib/perl5
/usr/lib/perl/5.8 /usr/share/perl/5.8 /usr/local/lib/site_perl .) at
(eval 5) line 3.

[3/[EMAIL PROTECTED] sid-smokeping]:~$

So, something has gone wrong with upstream integrating the patch. And
as usual, I do not understand the manpage as it doesn't give any
examples.

What did change with the config parser?

Greetings
Marc

I see.

According to my log, the message arrived and was delivered. But I
didn't see it, and can't find it now. Stupid me.

the example works fine. Thanks, and sorry for bothering.

Great! That's _very_ good news.

Greetings
Marc, closing the debian bug
