as you know, lirc is incompatible with kernel 2.6 ;
users should be made more aware of this fact though
(I lost 2 hours before finding this out)

- when people run 'make-kpkg modules-image' they should get
a reasonable error (not the 'cannot build rules.make' error that
it now spits)
- lirc-modules-source should depend on kernel-image (<< 2.6)
