Package: makedev
Version: 2.3.1-75
Severity: wishlist
New DAC960 driver included in 2.6 kernels require a /dev/dac960_gam
to be created in order to access some functions of the controller.
Currently this is handled in the varmon postinst script, and this is bad.
mknod --mode=660 /dev/dac960_gam c 10 252
Thanks,
