well, per default streamripper writes the files in the incomplete
directory and then moves them to the base directory when ripping
finished. If the file with the name of the track already exists in
incomplete, streamripper overwrites the old track (but does not if you
use -t, then it appends a version number). If your incomplete directory
gets as big as your base directory you can be sure to have ripped the
whole stream (thats pretty useful if you're trying to get all streamed
things).
