Package: blender
Version: 2.34-1
Severity: important

since blender seems to have major issues with sawfish [*] I decided to
run blender inside a vncserver. So that if window manager is locked or
the issues with rendering window kick again - I'll be safe with the rest
of my work.

But unfortunately when trying to start blender inside vnc (using
xvncviever on the same machine, not even remotely) I got:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ blender
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":1.0".
ERROR: Unable to open Blender window

I decided to give this bug severity "important" because using vncserver
with blender seems to be pretty workaround for some other bugs that
blender currently suffers, like:

234062: blender: blender crashes x-server
239184: blender: Blender's interface becoming crazy when starting to render...
and issues with windowmanagers in general - people seem to complain about
blender handling of windowmanager.

[*] - it completely locks sawfish at random - and I have to kill blender
from remote machine to get a response from the system - even ctrl-alt-F1
doesn't work. I'm not sure If I should report this bug, since it seems
only to occur on my desktop machine, not on my laptop, or on my wife's
machine. Perhaps my sawfish configuration is damaged here somehow.
