Package: vmware-package
Version: 0.16
Severity: normal
The /etc/vmware/config generated for vmware-server packages is missing
some lines for host only network configuration.
When using vmware-server packages (1.0.4 56528) generated by
vmware-package, and the user tries to use a host-only network adapter, a
Warning message will appear saying "Host-only networking is not
configured.", and the adapter will be then disabled.
Adding the following lines to /etc/vmware/config seems to do the trick.
These are generated by vmware-config.pl.
vmnet1.hostonlyaddress = "192.168.1.1"
vmnet1.hostonlynetmask = "255.255.255.0"
