Package: gs
Version: 7.05-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

attempting to run gs in any way causes gs to crash
with the following error message:

While reading gs_ll3.ps:
Error: /rangecheck in --.setcieaspace--
Operand stack:
   (gs_ll3.ps) 1 DefaultGray --nostringval-- ColorSpace

--dict:906/1123(G)-- --dict:37/43(G)--
--dict:16/20(ro)(G)--
Current allocation mode is global
Current file position is 12984

The problem seems to be broken colorspace definitions in
/usr/share/gs/7.05/gs_ll3.ps starting at line 383. Commenting
out all three colorspace definitions enables gs to run again.
I guess it breaks something else, though. I'm not proficient
enough in PS's colorspace stuff to actually point out what's
wrong, but the problem seems to be in each of those definitions,
as commenting out only some of them causes the same crash.

... in any case, the problem doesn't seem to have bitten anybody else in years,
so let's just close it...
