Package: amarok
Version: 1.4.5-5
Severity: normal
Many music streams do not play in an out-of-the-box
amarok installation, causing errors like "no demux available"
(paraphrasing). Streams in .mp3 format and .pls seem to be the main
culprits.
Installing libxine1-plugins solves the problem; apparently the xine engine
needs one of the related packages to handle certain stream types.

Hi,

libxine1 depends on libxine1-plugins so there is no need for amarok to
explicitly depend/recommend it.
