Package: axyl
Version: 2.9.1
Severity: important
[-legal and ftpmaster CC'ed]
Hi,
The following files are released under the problematic PHP 2.02 licence:
(/usr/share/axyl/lib/js/xinha/plugins/ImageManager/)
Classes/Transform.php
Classes/GD.php
Classes/IM.php
Classes/NetPBM.php
and they aren't mentioned in the copyright file either.
-legal: can a final concensus be reached on whether this licence is DFSG-free?
ftp-master: can we finally have some comment on this license issue (and the
lintian check)? Some packages have been rejected in the past because they are
released under the terms of the PHP license: but what about those currently
in the archive?
It would be great so that a final severity, wording, and references can be
used for the lintian check (see #498875, also CC'ed).
Cheers,

The axyl package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/506624 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.
Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
