Hrm, that's unfortunate. :/
I've had a look at the code and I don't see any bugs in its uid handling; so
if this bug is no longer reproducible, I think we're at a dead-end. My best
guess is that the ulimit was somehow set wrong earlier, and no longer is.
Closing the bug report since there's nothing further we can do here. If the
problem shows up again, please reopen.
