Greetings,

I have several macros and .sty files in a directory included in
$TEXINPUTS, which get included just fine when I run (pdf)latex from the
command line. They were also included fine during runs from emacs via
auctex in woody.

But in sarge, the files are not found. Running M-x getenv TEXINPUTS
works just fine, so I know the variable is set in the emacs environment.

Thanks,

-Adam P.

It is not Emacs' job to read shell initialization files, so I'm closing
this bug report. If you think it should be reopened, please reassign it
to gdm or whatever login manager you use.
