I believe that what you are seeing here is normal Unix linking behaviour
where build time things use the .so link but you've not provided
sufficient detail to be 100% sure.
If this is not the case could you please provide a more detailed report,
specifying what you mean when you say "System Profiler and Benchmark",
what steps you take to observe the problem you are seeing and
descriptions of both the observed and expected behaviour.
