Package: gnupg
Version: 1.0.4-1.1
Severity: wishlist

finlandia!joey(tty6):/tmp/work/lt> gpg --keyserver keyserver.debian.org
--recv-key 0x94C09C7F
gpg: requesting key 94C09C7F from keyserver.debian.org ...
gpg: can't get key from keyserver: No such file or directory
finlandia!joey(tty6):/tmp/work/lt> gpg --keyserver keyring.debian.org
--recv-key 0x94C09C7F
gpg: requesting key 94C09C7F from keyring.debian.org ...
gpg: key 94C09C7F: public key imported
gpg: sig 94C09C7F.210: duplicated certificate - deleted
gpg: Total number processed: 1
gpg: imported: 1

When using a wrong address for a keyserver, an error message like
'host not found' or if no keyserver is running 'cannot connect to...'
would be nice.

Regards,

        Joey

I've verified that the current versions in stable/testing/unstable give
the right error message, so these bugs can be closed.
