Package: gvfs
Version: 0.2.4-1
Severity: important
I'd make this grave or something, but I suppose it's possible that it
mysteriously works for someone else.
For me, it hasn't been able to do diddly squat ever since I decided to try
it (the remote-files-on-fuse thing sounded tempting), probably a few moons
ago.
o...@oblivion:~$ gvfs-mount ftp://ftp.debian.org
Error mounting location: volume doesn't implement mount
o...@oblivion:~$ gvfs-mount sftp://[email protected]
Error mounting location: volume doesn't implement mount
o...@oblivion:~$ gvfs-mount file:///home
Error mounting location: volume doesn't implement mount
o...@oblivion:~$ gvfs-ls sftp://people.debian.org
Error: Operation not supported
o...@oblivion:~$ gvfs-ls ftp://ftp.debian.org
Error: Operation not supported
o...@oblivion:~$ gvfs-cat http://www.debian.org
gvfs-cat: http://www.debian.org: error opening file: Operation not supported
and of course, like this I can't even try the fuse parts.
