If I bind alt-tab (or alt-q) to "Cycle windows" then after doing an
alt-tab (alt-q) the white box containing the window name doesn't disappear.
Binding ctrl-tab works as expected.
(these show as M-TAB, M-q, C-TAB repectively in the config program).
The output of xev when pressing and releasing alt-tab looks OK to me:
