Package: nessusd
Version: 1.0.5-1
or possibly in
Package: nessus
Version: 1.0.5-1
When the nessus client tries to log into the nessusd
server, I get the following error message
"Remote host is not using <NSP/0.3>"
I am using Debian GNU/Linux 2.2 (with a number of
library updates from woody)
kernel 2.2.17
libc6 2.1.95-1
nessusd/nessus 1.0.4 worked without any problems on
the same configuration (no libs changed when nessus
was updated unless nessus 1.0.5-1 depended on the
newer version.)
I also have the following packages related to nessus
installed:
nessus-dev 1.0.5-1
nessus-plugins 1.0.5-1
libnessus1 1.0.5-1
libnasl-dev 1.0.5-1
libnasl1 1.0.5-1
and up to date versions of all other libs nessus
depends on.

You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/76147 in Debian BTS
against the package nessus-core. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/534501. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.
Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.
Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
