Package: puppetmaster
Version: 0.18.4-1
Severity: normal
Using puppet and puppetmaster 0.18.4-1, the server part depends on the
puppet package as it provides the puppet "engine". After installation of
the puppet package, however, the puppetd service is always started by
default through an init.d-script although this seems unnecessary for
puppetmaster.
IMHO, the two binary packages should be split up into client and
server parts (containing, most notably, the initscripts) and an
additional package contain the common files, that is, the puppet
"engine".
