Package: apt-zip
Version: 0.13.2
Severity: normal
File: apt-zip
$ /usr/sbin/apt-zip-list -s -m . -a dist-upgrade -p alsa-modules-2.4.22-1-k7
$ awk '/^http/{print $2}' fetch-script-wget-jidanni.org|sort|uniq -d
kernel-image-2.4.22-1-k7_2.4.22-3_i386.deb
Somehow, certain -p requests cause duplicates to get in the download list!
That giant file will get downloaded twice!
# apt-get dist-upgrade --print-uris -qyy|grep alsa-modules
Nothing. I.e. My -p was not repeating something that would have been
gotten anyway.
a temporary hasty fix would to be to run the fetchlist thru sort -u
By the way, In your script
wget -t3 -nv -O $2 $1
however,
$ man wget
-O file
...Including this option automatically sets the number of tries to 1.
So saying -t3 means nothing.
... If file already exists, it will be overwritten.
Thank goodness, else the above duplicates would end up on the cdrom I
was burning too.
