ElmerGUI cannot be launched from the command line, and fails with an
initialisation error.
Please consider doing any of the following
1) Replace ElmerGUI with a wrapper script that launches the real ElmerGUI after
setting the following variables:
ELMER_HOME=/usr
ELMERGUI_HOME=/usr/share/ElmerGUI
ELMER_POST_HOME=/usr/share/elmerpost
2) patch ElmerGUI's environment variable calls to test the debian install
locations if the environment variables are not set.
