I play some hou with. Your configuration seems to be work i all
cases. Old configuration work if launch pon from concole or
terminal. When I lanch it from wmppp (thas I use mostly, after
connection immedietly pppd hang, as I report). I know one
diferent, but I don know it is imortant. Your configuration
after luch pppd immediately return prompt and is silent. My old
configuration (several years work) print several messages and
than return to the prompt.
