Package: nvidia-glx nvidia-settings nvidia-xconfig

Try install nvidia-glx driver with follow commands:
1) sudo aptitude install nvidia-glx nvidia-settings nvidia-xconfig
2) sudo nvidia-xconfig

After this my Debian can load only with 2.6.32.5-486 kernel, tryin
boot 2.6.32.5-686 kernel or 2.6.32.5-686-bigmem kernel, this lead to a
flickering screen. How install nvidia-glx to work with
2.6.32.5-686-bigmem kernel?

I am using Debian GNU/Linux 6 squeeze, kernel 2.6.32.5-686-bigmem

I understand. Unfortunately apt is not clever enough to select a
prebuilt module package for your currently running kernel. Instead it
installed a different kernel (-486) and the prebuilt nvidia module for
this kernel.

You could just have installed nvidia-kernel-2.6.32-2-686-bigmen ...

Next time please use reportbug, this would have listed that you are
missing the proper module package ...

Use the nvidia-kernel-dkms package :-)

I'm closing this report now.
