Hi,
Please make doc-base.EX into doc-base.ex so it matches the rest of the
example files. its nice to remove all unused examples with an rm *ex.

We cannot as it messes up debhelper. You can read about it in bug #138785
but doc-base.ex is a valid name for a file and will be installed.
