Package: lilo
Version: 22.2-3
(Apologies for the previous emission of this bug report; I had finger trouble
with emacs.)
When I upgraded from potato to woody, I became unable to run lilo. Here's
the output of lilo -v3:

The version of lilo provided with Debian 2.2r6 was perfectly willing to accept
this partition table. The kernel I am running is perfectly willing to accept
this partition table. lilo 22.2 and all of woody's fdisk utilities are
not willing to accept this partition table - cfdisk produces an error, while
fdisk refuses to read the extended partition data from /dev/hda4.
Here is the partition table:
Disk /dev/hda: 255 heads, 63 sectors, 4983 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 bytes

This bug relates to the old version 1:22.2-3 which are out of scope.
We believe that the bug you reported related to changes on newer kernels
and have nothing to do with lilo.
Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to [email protected],
and the maintainer will reopen the bug report if appropriate.
