Package: libsmbclient-dev
Version: 2:3.2.5-4lenny8
Severity: important
libsmbclient.h includes method definitions for smbc_urldecode qnd
smbc_urlencode. However, these are not included in the compiled library.
This has been reported in to the samba project in the following bug-reported:
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6022
More recent versions of samba now again include these methods.
The Debian package should be upgraded to a more recent version of the library
to overome this problem.
There's software which depends on this functionality.

Because of a weird succession of versions in changelog, this bug is
considered not fixed in stable and unstable, while it is.
I guess this is because the version is was marked as "done" is "prior"
to a version where it is "found" in debian/changelog.
Hopefully, this mail should fix this.
