Package: evince
Version: 2.26.2-1
Severity: normal
Reading documentation prior to using a software seems to be a lost
tradition. Otherwise this bug would have been found:
$ man evince
...
SYNTAX
evince [--help] [--usage] [--page-label=<label>] [--quit]
[filename(s)...]
...
$ evince --usage
Cannot parse arguments: Unknown option --usage$
As you can see the manpage advertises an option that is not available.
Please either fix evince or the manpage.
Helmut
PS: Documentation on how to customize evince would be great, too. It
seems to open .Xdefaults, but I did not find a description on what
statements it accepts.
