The po files are currently out of date:
$ msgfmt --statistics help2man.pot=20
0 translated messages, 29 untranslated messages.
$ msgfmt --statistics fr.po=20
28 translated messages.
$ msgmerge -U fr.po help2man.pot=20
=2E... done.
$ msgfmt --statistics fr.po =20
27 translated messages, 1 fuzzy translation, 1 untranslated message.
To avoid this problem, I suggest you to apply the attached patch for
Makefile.in. This patch may need some improvement, but here is what it
does:
* no longer use mkpot (you can remove this script)
* automatically update the po files and the pot file
* use a generic way to find translated files (ie po/*.po files).
If you need more explanation, do not hesitate to ask me.
