Hi,

For some reason, "dpkg -L hdparm|grep udev" is still listing a
/etc/udev/hdparm.rules which seems to be immediatly removed in the
postinstall script.

This make debsums utility complains about a "missing file".

I guess the package should stop shipping that file.

Cheers

Uh, is it? Here's my system:

michael@feivel:~$ dpkg -L hdparm|grep udev
/lib/udev
/lib/udev/rules.d
/lib/udev/rules.d/85-hdparm.rules
michael@feivel:~$

I don't see it here.

Let me see:

michael@feivel:~$ dpkg -c hdparm_9.39-1+b1_amd64.deb |grep udev
drwxr-xr-x root/root 0 2012-06-24 14:33 ./lib/udev/
drwxr-xr-x root/root 0 2012-06-24 14:33 ./lib/udev/rules.d/
-rw-r--r-- root/root 92 2012-06-24 14:33
./lib/udev/rules.d/85-hdparm.rules

Doesn't seem to be in there either.

Not sure where your local problem came from, but I cannot what's wrong with the
package.
