This version not working with modular kernel, those hdparm initializes
during the boot procedure before the modules initialized and hw drivers
loaded. You _must_ link it into the rcS structure in bigger level than
modutils (S20).

This bug has been without any action for more than 5 years. Besides there is
not even an agreement that it is indeed a bug. Therefore I just close it.
