Hi,

I'm going to close this, since its not actually a bug as reported,
and these links in fact should not be used by anyone at all anymore.
You should call wx-config --version=2.4 instead of trying to compose
a mangled name (which itself won't exist any longer even if you do).

I've updated my local tree to no longer create them, they will be
gone with the next upload, but I'm going to close this now rather
than mark it pending for a somewhat different issue.

thanks,
Ron
