Package: emacs20
Version: 20.7-10.1
Severity: normal
For example, when performing a client/server commit, if someone is
holding a lock on the server, no messages are displayed for a long time
(many minutes) until cvs finally exits with an error status. During
this time, cvs prints many messages indicating that it is waiting for a
lock, and the name of the user who holds it.
It is important that these messages (which appear to be going to stderr)
be displayed as soon as possible, so that the user knows what is going
on.
