Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal

This is an unbelievable package - I've no idea how this ended
up in the archive. The RC bug is only the start.

code-aster-test contains *compiled* binaries in an Arch: all package
in /usr/share - all other packages are Arch: any and all are empty.

The perl substitution in debian/rules has to be seen to be believed.

Some tests are removed just because the tests fail due to missing
functionality.

This package deserves never to darken the archive again.

--- Begin Message --- As said below, the packaging of Aster was significantly improved recently. I believe the reasons invoked for its removal do not apply anymore.

The Debian packaging of Aster has been completely reworked. Last week,
new version was uploaded. All RC bugs are solved hopefully. So please do
not remove it from the archive.
