Package: src: startpu
Version: 1.1.0+dfsg-2
Severity: important

libstarpu-dev is currently uninstallable, because gcc-4.9 is now at version
4.9.1.

starpu is build-depending on gcc-4.7 so I would assume that it uses gcc-4.7,
however libstarpu-dev is now depending on gcc-4.9.

This seems to be wrong.

Indeed, and starpu switched to gcc 4.9 with 1.1.2+dfsg-1.

Yes, starpu depends on the precise upstream version of gcc for the
plugin support (currently 4.9.0). When a newer gcc release is uploaded,
the starpu package just needs to be rebuilt against the newer gcc.

The current version, no, it build-depends on and uses gcc-4.9.

The current version, yes. And on gcc 4.9.0 more precisely. It just
needs a rebuild against 4.9.1 now. I have queued it.
