Package: rsyslog
Version: 4.6.4-2+deb6u1
Severity: normal

After the latest upgrade to 4.6.4-2+deb6u1 I am now seeing these
errors in the syslog. The configuration is stock and unmodified
Debian package defaults.

  Oct 20 13:48:36 cerberus rsyslogd: [origin software="rsyslogd"
swVersion="4.6.4" x-pid="13549" x-info="http://www.rsyslog.com";] (re)start
Oct 20 13:48:36 cerberus rsyslogd-2066: could not load module
'/usr/lib/rsyslog/imklog.so', dlopen: /usr/lib/rsyslog/imklog.so: undefined
symbol: LOG_FAC [try http://www.rsyslog.com/e/2066 ]
Oct 20 13:48:36 cerberus rsyslogd: the last error occured in
/etc/rsyslog.conf, line 12:"$ModLoad imklog # provides kernel logging support
(previously done by rklogd)"
Oct 20 13:48:36 cerberus rsyslogd-2124: CONFIG ERROR: could not interpret
master config file '/etc/rsyslog.conf'. [try http://www.rsyslog.com/e/2124 ]

Reverting to version 4.6.4-2 in main avoids the errors and logging is
restored to normal operation.

  apt-get install rsyslog=4.6.4-2

Thank you for maintaining rsyslog!

Bob

Closing the bug, since this is supposed to be fixed in 4.6.4-2+deb6u2
